    Gujarat to cater 100 Japanese companies ...

    Japan will set up 100 more companies in Gujarat by 2015-16. This was announced by Japanese officials on Wednesday during a workshop on ‘Doing Business with Japan’ at Ahmedabad Management Association, Ahmedabad. The focus would be on the automobile sector. Along with joint ventures, there are 12 Japanese companies operating in the state at present. Japan has invested more than $25 billion in various projects in India till date. And now its Gujarat state which will get investment from the Japanese companies. This is a huge success for Gujarat state as more than 100 Japanese companies will be investing by 2016. “The first Japanese investment came here 28 years ago when Hitachi started collaboration with a local company.
